Why do guys only buy you flowers when they've made you mad?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half. He only buys me flowers when he makes me mad. Yesterday, he upset me on my lunch break and we didnt talk very much until I got off work. When I got home, he wasnt there. He came home about 10 minutes later with a dozen beautiful pink roses and a card telling me he was sorry and that he loves me...all that good stuff. This was great and made me feel good, but why dont men buy you flowers just because?

Why do guys only buy you flowers when they've made you mad?
Because if we bought you flowers all the time, it wouldn't show the sincerity of our feelings when we want to make it up to you somehow.

Reply:They know flowers are the way to a woman's heart. Most men have a hard time expressing the way they feel. Tell him you loved the flowers BUT you would like receiveing them on days when there has been no fighting.
Reply:bcoz guys dnt knw how to flatter a girl wen they arent mad at them..and just try to bribe them wit lovely things to try and forgive them..obviously we cant generalize...some guys are just sweet naturally..too bad they're limited
Reply:They do something wrong and they want to forgive them for making you mad. They just don't think about us girls just because. They only want alot of things for themselves and they don't think about us more then they should. Trust me, I know alot of guys that do the same thing cuz they only got one thing on the brain and you what im talking about.

If you got mad (action), your boyfriend will try to make peace with you by doing nice things (reaction).








If your boyfriend bought flowers to you without any action from you, then it's probable that the flower buying is an action for your reaction. So if your boyfriend unexpectly bought you flowers, chances are he wants something from you.

Because it's a sweet gesture and it's widely appreciated by women.They feel they're gonna be instantly forgiven when they do that,imply him that you need stuff like that on normal occasions,too.
