First date, should i buy flowers?
Yes, a small bouquet of anything but roses (too cliche). Carnations are inexpensive, pretty and they stay fresh for a long time compared to other flowers.

Reply:Not alot of guys do this anymore. But, it is very romantic and I know I would be happy if you did that for me. Carnations they are inexpensive but last longer so every time she sees them for about two weeks they will remind her of you.
Reply:Yes! A simple grocery-store mix is good, but a potted plant might be better. Some girls hate getting flowers that die. Some only want roses. If you can, ask a friend of hers which she would prefer.

Reply:Then again, what if she's allergic to them? Long stem roses seem to be a favorite. I personally would preffer a potted herb that would look pretty, smell nice, and be practical.

Reply:i wouldn't want flowers on the first date. It would make me feel pressured or as if you were too nice or pushy. Do it on the second date if the first one went well.

However if you're collecting her from her house then yes I think a small bouquet of flowers would be very apropriate, something like half a dozen white roses or something.

But dont buy them, or have them delivered to restaraunt, or wherever you are. Then they make some uncomfortable item that had to be carried around throughout the date.








But......you cannot go wrong with flowers.
