What do you think about praising a dead one at his funeral??? Is there a need for a tribute still for his sake?

While it is to respect the recently deceased. It is more so for the mourners as a way of coping with the situation and saying their goodbyes they maybe didn't have the chance to say. While many people say they wouldn't care because they are dead remember your family and loved ones aren't and it means something to them.

Moreover, flowers from the person we love says "I was thinking about you" or "I miss you" or "I really love you" or, best of all, "I really appreciate all you do." How do I plant outdoor flowers?
I have my first house and I get to plant flowers! I'm so excited! I bought some flowers and I have planted them. I have a feeling I am supposed to be doing more though. I mean I just dug a hole in the ground, put the plant in, tried to break up the "bulb", covered it with dirt, patted the dirt, watered and moved on. Do I need to fertilize? Should I have used special dirt? Any tips or good websites to visit? I have many more plants to plant as our landscaping stinks.

Search how to make new flower beds on the internet. Or get a good magazine or book on flower gardens. Once you have your bed dug and the dirt chopped, you can add some potting soil and mix it. Then plant what you want and cover the exposed ground with lots of mulch. Water every day for the first 2 weeks and then slack off unless it is very dry.

I buy them on impulse along the road if i see them for sale, sometimes when i am in the supermarket....for special occasions i go to a florist...for a special arrangement. I am sending the 1 girl I want to date a bunch of flowers with a card that reads" Hopes these flowers makes you feel special" (I asked her what makes her special and she said no, i'm not special...) and in the card a ticket aboard a river cruise with lunch on that Sunday for 1-2 hours.
This is a reall lady - lady, so thats why I am sending flowers, she also told me she love flowers.
I want to buy a bunch of roses that comes in a bunch of 15,
I want to buy 7 white roses, 7 yellow roses and 1 red rose.
The roses should then be mixed and the red rose should come in the middle.
What do you guys think? Or what other flowers should I go for.

What is the best way to do my own bouquets and also to ensure I have the flowers I need for my wedding?
I am doing my own bouquets and centerpieces for the wedding. I did some trial the other night using flowers bought from the grocery store, and they turned out great; however, my wedding is not until July 4th, and I would like to ensure I can get the inexpensive flowers I need ON THE DATE I need them. I would prefer not to buy from a professional florist when I can spend half the money buying them at the grocery store! Does anybody know any good online retailers that will send undecorated flowers to your home? Or does anybody have any OTHER tips that could be useful? Thank you.

I'm in Michigan and went through a company called Horrocks. They are a produce store. They even made it so the roses were "left out" and in full bloom. Your grocery store could probably work with a wholesaler and get them delivered. They did make the bouquets. On site delivery was $12 and we spent $700 out the door, this included everything......centerpieces, bouquets, coursages etc. You can email me privately for pix.
I would go locally rather than online. I've had some really bad experiences with some online retailers.

This worked for me because I have one less thing I needed to worry about. The only flowers I need now are for the gentleman, my mother grandmothers etc. . and I'm getting them for an awesome price at Price Chopper. Good Luck and CONGRADULATIONS on the wedding

I work in a shop, I overheard two women talking about the flowers we had on sale. The general point of the conversation was that these girls were suspicious if their husband got them flowers because it happened so rarely that they figured the guy must have done something wrong and was feeling guilty!! I work in a shop, I overheard two women talking about the flowers we had on sale. The general point of the conversation was that these girls were suspicious if their husband got them flowers because it happened so rarely that they figured the guy must have done something wrong and was feeling guilty!! So buy them flowers often so they dont ever get to that point!!

some can, if you can get the seeds out of them and dry and plant the seeds they may grow. daisy type flowers are the easiest. you cant do it with flowers that are bulbs or roses, they don't grow from seed.

You'd have to look up the individual plant and see how it's propagated and follow the instructions. Even then, things like the freshness of the cutting would matter, and you'd probably want to cut the flower(s) off. However, if something in a vase starts unexpectedly putting out roots for you, then go for it.
One thing that you might find at a florist that can be easy to root is willow--p.ussy willow or corksrew willow. The key here is to get fresh cuttings, not dried. Put them in water and they should do their thing.

this is a very important question because my girlfriend whom i love to death has only ever wanted a cherry blossom, she has told me of her past.... when her and her father were really close, and there use to be a cherry blossom tree at her old old house along time ago.... she thought they were the prettiest thing she had ever seen, and her dad use to say that she was prettier than a cherry blossom, now her father has changed and shunes her, turns her way says things he shouldn't all she wants is a flower to remember how it use to be... so i want to get her one......... does anyone have any idea were to buy them....???? ive checked alot of places online... they are all artifical, i cant settle for a fake one

It has been awhile since my oldest son went to his semi-formal to remember. Now my youngest has his semi (10th grade dance) and I'm not sure if you buy flowers for the girl or not.

If u are someplace warm anything above 50 degrees this would work for me go to the park have a few blankets pack a lunch with some sandwiches a little pasta thermas of hot chocolate or coffee, some fruit and enjoy the day even if it´s cold u can keep eachother warm. she won´t like it only if she a B....
if your in a snow then try the picnic in doors in front of a fire

BUt if u feel obligated to give flowers then one flower that pops out as your keeping each other warm get the picture 1 uno not dozen doesn´t have to be a rose......a tulip because she is as lovely as spring. or as deliciate and beautiful as a orcid

Reply:I think flowers are for an anytime occasion and for valentine's maybe something more romantic and personal. I was thinking maybe rose pedals spread around the bedroom with some champagne on ice, a fruit bowl beside the bed, and other fun items to share as the night goes on. I think using your imagination is a great thing and a lot of fun as well.
As far as being the most romantic I think it should be 50 / 50. I guess it would depend on the person and how comfortable they are with it.
