Is there a certain type of lamp light I can buy to help my indoor flowers grow?

Other than sunlight of course.

Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium lighting are superior substitutes for sunlight, but expensive (mainly for serious hobbyists) and can be unnecessary for plants that don't need direct sunlight to live. If you're growing something like Pothos Vines or African Violets, flourescent lights will be just fine. Flourescent lights are cheaper too. You can grow all sorts of different plants under them, but the ones that need lots of direct sunglight (like desert cacti) won't grow as well as they could otherwise.
Reply:Tell the truth, you need a grow lamp for your weed.
Reply:I use a nifty little gadget called 'The Intelligent Plant Light'. It has a computer chip in it that helps it to mimic the light intensity according to the season. There is also a moisture indicator that will let you know when your plant needs watering. I got mine at amazon.com.
Reply:well it depends on what your plants are and i would get a heat lamp if that plant like the heat and if it just needs more light, them get a grow lamp or just a high watt lamp an put it over your plants
Reply:I grow tomatoes under 40 watt flourescent lights and they do fine the trick is to keep the plants no more than 4 inches from the bulb or they will stretch and get leggy.
