Making a croquembouche.....can you suggest anything else i could decorate it with????

Where can i buy crystallized flowers?
Make them yourself, just find some small flowers, like violets, or use rose petals, paint them with beaten egg white, and sprinkle them with castor sugar (fine, but not powdered) let them dry and they are ready to use.
Reply:I don't know where you are, but here in Australia alot of the supermarkets have them, you can do it yourself fairly easily, just make sure you choose the right flowers (google it), or try to find a shop that sells cake decorating supplies, it will be easier if you live in a city and they should be able to help you.
Reply:You can easily make them by starting off with edible flowers. Roses petals are a beautiful and common choice. Here's how to do it: http://homecooking.about.com/od/dessertr...
