What kind of flowers should i buy for a girl that i have a crush on?

i want something that smells nice and is quality in appearance. i was wondering if there are various kinds of roses that can achieve this requirement.

Despite what most people think...Yellow roses mean love and friendship.





Valentines day and all that red hearts and roses stuff often confuses people into thinking red roses mean true love.





A nice bouquet of yellow roses while not only beautiful will have a hidden meaning that you can share with her or not.

Reply:Well, since you only have a crush on her....and you aren't romantically involved yet....I would suggest getting her a mixed bouquet of wild flowers. They are bright and airy and smell wonderful. Roses are dramatic......a mixed bouquet shows her that you kinda dig her and you're a fun spirited person. Color always makes a person feel happy ...so buy something with lots of bright flowers!

Reply:I would go for a striking combo of red and white, red and purple or a mix of all three. I really like Purple Statice, white sweet peas or tulips and red red roses. You can go to your local Farmer's market to find them too and they are much cheaper than at the florist shop. ask them to wrap them nicely and viola! a beautiful bouquet for your sweety!!! good for you for taking that extra step in romance!!!

Reply:Roses are wonderful. I love the white ones myself. Having said that, i'm not the girl you've got a crush on. So, can you find out her favourite flowers and colours? Do you know any of her friends or family you could ask. I'm sure that she'd appreciate any flowers you bought her, but if you went to the extra effort of finding out her favourite flowers and colours, she'd be over the moon! Good luck!

Reply:I'm w/ the African Violet guy. Buy her a pretty plant! It'll last much longer and the price won't be artificially inflated like it is w/ roses (since its close to Valentine's Day).





Cut flowers %26amp; roses slowly wilt away and die. Why not get her something that is more memorable and more original? Roses on V-Day = not original. Venus Fly Trap- now that's original! ;-D

if they are really expensive where you are and you cant afford a bunch of them you can always get a couple of them and mix them with gypsophillia (that stuff with tiny white flowers), lillies (star gazer lillys smell wonderful) or Gerberus which are like huge daiseys and come in some really nice colours.


or if its a first date sort of thing a nice mix of seasonal flowers would be nice sometimes i think roses can be a bit boring, its nice to get something different. you could also find out what her fave flowers are and get them.


if you want roses that are a bit different there are some that are new to the market, they are orange by the stem and get to a yellow by the tips of the leaves, you are looking about £3 a rose for them but they are absoultly lovely.
