Is it proper to buy flowers if I know I wont see the girl on March 8th?

March 8th is the woman's day, but I wont see her that day since she works on Saturday. So do you think I should bring flowers tomorrow, and say something like "This is for March 8th..."

Is it proper to buy flowers if I know I wont see the girl on March 8th?
I don't enjoy getting gifts early. It takes the fun out of the day. And I love getting flowers at work. (Bragging rights)
Reply:By your question, I don't really understand what the occasion is, but I would send flowers to her work on March 8.

Trust me, WE LOVE GETTING FLOWERS AT WORK!
Reply:You should totally send her flowers on that day, instead of waiting for it after. Then she will be thinking about you all day long, and thinking of how sweet you are
Reply:Yes a great idea
Reply:give it to her in advance.. not all women like to parade their personal lives at work...
Reply:Well, it's never NOT proper to give flowers.

And there's a charm in having an extended holiday, birthday, or whatever (you aren't clear what THE day is).

What's "the woman's day"?
