Does anyone know where to buy Flowers bitter? Or even who brews it?

Someone called WBC Brewers - appear to be allied to Bass.

Flowers is available from most UK supermarkets (at least all the ones I visit in the south!) and it is often the guest beer in real ale pubs as it is fairly easy to keep well.

try looking it up on the net
Reply:Flowers original and Flowers IPA were orignally brewed in Luton, the flowers brewery was taken over by whitbread who closed it and relocated it to Cheltenham. That brewery was eventually closed and all of whitbreads breweries were sold to the belgian interbrew, they had flowers brewed at the Boddingtons brewery in Manchester, after they closed it they outsourced the brewing of their brands. Flowers is now contract brewed by Hall %26amp; Woodhouse (Badger) of Blandford in Dorset.
Reply:my house yes .

you can buy it in threshers and most good off licences
Reply:You could contact camra.org.uk Campaign For Real Ale. Click on to the links page where there is lots of info. Beer festivals, beer info etc.

Hope it comes up trumps for you.
Reply:GOOGLE The Oxford Bottled Beer Database it has info about Flowers on there don't know if it'll be any help!
Reply:i used to live in saffron walden and they sold it there sorry but i couldnt stand the stuff ...it must be my northern roots
Reply:The Original Flowers is no longer brewed.

Like many ales it has been relocated re branded and reduced in flavour.

However, you best bet is to ring CAMRA in St Albans and ask them their opinion.

Be prepared to be saddened
