Where can I buy flowers near Boston College?

My boyfriend is singing tonight in a concert, and I want to buy him flowers! Anybody from BC know where the closest place to buy flowers would be?

If you are driving or taking the T down Beacon St, one easy place that comes to mind is Trader Joes right in Coolidge Corner. It's an easy stop. A few blocks past Coolidge Corner heading toward BC is a Star Market. I'm sure you could pick up one of their bouquets but usually TJ's are nicer.

The other florists I know are farther away, but I'm far more familiar with the BU end of things lol. I can't picture a florist right by BC, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Other than what I mentioned the closest one that comes to mind is in Newton Center, but they are pretty pricey and not closer IMHO.

I wanted to at least give some options. If he is with you could you say you wanted to get something else, have him wait and run in? I'm sure you could hide it in one of their paper shopping bags (they have a lot out back BTW).

Have a great time!
Reply:I don't know any specific places as Boston is not my area.

Citysearch.com is very useful though, you can search for pretty much any business, company or service you are looking for in a particular location. There is even a rating system and reviews on the above given by people have used their services in the past.
Reply:There is a florist in Newton Center, but I am not positive of the name. There are also a few supermarkets around the area which all have florist shops inside.
